Hurricanes: One-Stop Info SourceHurricane Symbol

Hurricane Preparedness Week is May 25-31. To learn more about steps you can take during this week to prepare for a hurricane, visit FEMA's Hurricane Season 08 Website and NOAA's Hurricane Preparedness Week Website. Both have important information to help you prepare. You can also read NOAA's 2008 Hurricane Forecast.

Each of the First Congressional District's 5 counties is at risk of being impacted by a hurricane or tropical storm. To assist my constituents with preparing for the annual hurricane season, I have developed this site to provide up-to-date information about storms and shelters, tips on how to prepare your home, and other useful information. I hope you find these sites and information useful.
