Congressman Brown meets with Fire Chiefs of Myrtle Beach and Pawleys Island to Discuss First Responder Needs

Myrtle Beach Chief Alvin Payne (1st photo) and Pawleys Island Chief Doug Eggiman were in Washington with the SC State Firefighters Association.  Congressman Brown has a long history supporting federal programs that help meet the needs of our first responders, including the Assistance to Firefighter Grant program, which provides funding for trucks and equipment, and the SAFER program, which allows departments to address critical staff shortages.
