Congressman Henry Brown Votes to Provide

Vital Funding for American Troops
 

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Representative Henry E. Brown, Jr. (SC-01) tonight made the following statement after casting his vote for the emergency war supplemental:
 

“This compromise measure provides critical support for our forces engaged in the Global War on Terror and funds military operations through September, as President Bush requested, without burdensome timetables.

By voting for this bill, I am sending a strong message to our troops that we support them and their mission.”
